Our Milling Workshop: Where Precision Meets Efficiency

  • 3-Axis Milling: The industry standard for drilling, tapping, and milling flat surfaces or simple contours. Perfect for electronic enclosures, base plates, and brackets.
Capacity: High-speed spindles for aluminum; high-torque spindles for steel.
  • 4-Axis Machining: Adds a rotary axis (A-axis) to the standard setup. This allows us to machine the sides of a part or cut continuous helix features without manually fixturing the part multiple times.
  • 5-Axis Simultaneous Milling: Our flagship capability. The tool moves along X, Y, Z, A, and B axes simultaneously. This allows the cutter to approach the workpiece from any angle, enabling the machining of impellers, turbine blades, and organic shapes with deep pockets.
  • Micro-Milling: specialized high-RPM capability for creating miniature features with tools as small as 0.1mm in diameter.
  • Tolerance Standard: We routinely hold ±0.01mm (0.0004") for metal parts and ±0.05mm for plastics.

Material Class Common Grades Milled Milling Characteristics
Aluminum 6061, 7075, 5052, 6063 Excellent chip control; high-speed machining possible; mirror finishes.
Stainless Steel 304, 316L, 17-4PH, 303 Requires rigid setup and flood coolant; we minimize work hardening.
Titanium Grade 2, Grade 5 (Ti64) Low thermal conductivity requires specialized tool paths to prevent heat buildup.
Plastics ABS, PEEK, POM, Nylon We use sharp tools to prevent melting; stress-relieving cycles used for PEEK.
Yellow Metals Copper C11000, Brass Copper requires sharp tools to prevent burrs; Brass allows for extremely fast feeds.
