Plastic CNC Machining For Rapid Prototyping
CNC machining of plastic materials has light weight, reducing product weight; More than 28 engineering grade materials to choose from to meet different needs; Low cost, economic benefits; Easy to process, suitable for rapid prototyping; Excellent insulation properties, suitable for electronic field; Good plasticity, making complex shapes; Can be large-scale production, improve efficiency; Suitable for various industries, such as medical, consumer goods, aviation, etc. These features make plastic CNC machining popular for manufacturing a wide range of parts and products.
Plastic CNC Machining shops
At Jucheng Precision, we produce custom precision plastic parts and rapid prototyping services with 55+ CNC turning and milling machines, including 5 sets of 5 axis CNC machines. Grinding and Wire & Sinker EDM machining equipment is available in our plant.
Our plastic machine shop offer 12 different types of Plastic: ABS, PC, PA, POM (Delrin/Acetal), PEEK, PTFE (Teflon), PMMA, HDPE, LDPE, PBT, PP, PA+GF30 etc.
Not only can we fabricate your plastic parts but also a lot of post-processing treatment provided for your plastic parts, including polishing/mirror polishing, bead blasting, brushing, painting, powder coating, chrome or nickel plating and laser engraving.
 Available materials
ABS is a popular thermoplastic polymer that has a range of desirable mechanical properties, including high impact resistance, good heat resistance, and good machinability. It is also available in a variety of colors and finishes, making it a versatile material for a wide range of applications, including automotive parts, toys, consumer electronics, and household appliances.
Polycarbonate (PC) is a thermoplastic polymer that has excellent mechanical properties, including high toughness, impact strength, and good machinability. It is also known for its optical clarity, making it a preferred material for applications where transparency is important.
PA (Polyamide) is known for its high strength, toughness, and abrasion resistance. Polyamide is commonly used in a variety of applications, such as in automotive parts, electrical components, and consumer goods.
POM (Delrin/Acetal)
POM is known for its excellent mechanical properties, including high stiffness and strength, low friction, and good resistance to wear and abrasion. These properties make it a preferred material for parts that need to withstand high stress and load, such as gears, bearings, and other mechanical components.
PEEK is a high strength-to-weight ratio, high temperature resistance, and good chemical resistance material, Meanwhile, it can be easily machined, molded, or extruded into a variety of shapes and sizes.
PTFE (Teflon)
PTFE is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that is known for its exceptional chemical resistance, low friction, and non-stick properties, making it ideal for use in applications where low friction and non-stick properties are desired, such as in bearings, slides, and other mechanical components.
PMMA is known for its optical clarity and high light transmission, making it a preferred material for applications where transparency is important, such as in automotive lightings, skylights, and display cases. More visible than PC. Poor chemical resistance, and can be brittle and vulnerable.
HDPE has excellent strength and durability, making it resistant to impact, abrasion, and other types of wear and tear. It also has good chemical resistance and can withstand exposure to a range of chemicals, including acids, bases, and organic solvents.
LDPE (Low-density polyethylene) is a type of polyethylene that has a low density, typically ranging from 0.910 to 0.940 g/cm³. It is known for its flexibility, toughness, and chemical resistance.
PBT has excellent mechanical properties, including high strength and stiffness, which makes it useful for applications that require strength and durability.PBT and PET need UV protection if used outdoors, and most grades of these polyesters are flammable.
PP is a thermoplastic that can be easily molded or extruded into a variety of shapes and sizes. It has good mechanical properties, including high strength and stiffness, which makes it suitable for creating functional prototypes.
PA+GF30 is a type of engineering plastic that is made by adding 30% glass fibers to the base polymer of Nylon (PA). The resulting material is known for its high strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability.
